The Clem Jones Centre for Neurobiology and Stem Cell Research is a translational research centre that develops therapies to treat spinal cord injury, peripheral nerve injuries and dementia.

With widespread community, state and federal government support, a Phase I clinical trial to test a cell transplantation therapy to repair the injured spinal cord commenced in 2024.
